See All ReviewsSolid neighborhood Mexican spot with very friendly staff, fair prices, and decent portion sizes. It’s a convenient lunch option for NASA staff, nearby businesses, and local residents, especially if you’re looking for something quick and approachable. The food is good and consistent, and it hits the spot. One thing to note: the music can be quite loud during the lunch hour, which may not be ideal if you’re looking for a quiet meal or work conversation. On the plus side, there are multiple TV screens, making it a good place to catch a game or keep up with the news while you eat. Overall, a reliable, friendly place for lunch with a lively atmosphere.
I am here again today with friends and will try again. Ordered the pollo veggie. Asked for no butter, I'm allergic and no salt on anything and no beans or rice. And it was PERFECT!! Posting a updated menu pics. Would come back, and hope it's as good in the future as we're 50/50 right now. 4 months ago when I first tried a meal here, I ordered the pechuga veggie. The chicken breast was very thin and dry and the vegetables had entirely too much salt. The rice was completely flavorless. The charro beans were probably the best thing of a meal but it was too much money to pay for what I got and when I asked about being able to substitute because the rice was not good, if I were to come back for future order, I was told there were no substitutions so I won't be back even though I figured I could ask for no salt. Not worth it and not worth the money. The service was okay and their chips are really good they are super thin like I like them and very crispy, although neither of their sauce options was any good. The tortillas tasted old and were hard like maybe they were from the day before. They definitely were not fresh
Simple, no frills, long time neighborhood Tex-Mex joint. Perfect for those nights where you don't feel like cooking and just want a nice combination plate, chips & salsa, and a cold drink. Several TVs tuned in to sports. Great food and attentive staff.
