See All ReviewsI can't wait until Lucy reopens. The food is traditional Mexican, simple, and very well done. Every meal starts with a cup of good lentil soup, followed by a simple yet delicious iceberg lettuce and tomato salad that has a dressing that tastes like butter. It's fantastic! Then, whether one orders enchiladas or tacos every meal is excellent
We went because this is where Linda Rondstat and Governor Jerry Brown met. Very authentic old school Mexican food. Spicy hot sauce and good food, friendly service. Liked it a lot. 2022 and 2023 update: it closed during the pandemic and has not re-opened.
An amazing Hollywood establishment that has not changed since the 60s. Hosted by an incredible waiter by the name of Edwin we enjoyed the evening with the best margaritas in town and excellent Mexican cuisine. Nestled right on the corner of Melrose avenue right across the street from Paramount studios, you could almost pass this place if you weren't paying attention but do make the effort if you have not been. It's a wonderful dining experience, fast and friendly service with ambiance and Hollywood history all wrapped into one.
