2 months agoI was welcomed by a very friendly server. Each staff member went above and beyond to make sure my needs were anticipated. The Reuben was very well crafted and delicious. The sweet tea was done to perfection and the rice pudding was a great way to finish the meal. If I’m back in the area I’ll be sure to stop here.

2 months agoOne of our favorite local places. First thing you see when walking in is all of the fresh made desserts. Amazing selection! Meals are made fresh on the premises, such as fresh roasted chicken and prime rib. They have a large variety of really great sandwiches as well. Full bar. Always excellent service!

3 months agoFantastic place. Really home-y atmosphere as you walk in, in a sort of warm country-antique way. The food is fantastic, with tons of options to choose from, and large meals. The staff here are very nice. I'd like to come again, it's a great place here and I really liked the decoration.

9 months agoStopped for lunch a day ago and it was quite enjoyable. At first glance I thought it was more of a bar, but once inside it was quite pleasant and felt like it was newly renovated. A server was pleasant and efficient.. We would go again to eat there. They served us a nice grilled chicken salad and I had the Philly steak. Both were very good. Prices were average for a large restaurant. I was told most of the desserts are made on site.

a year agoI am so glad we finally stopped! The food was amazing. Idk who’s grandma they have in the back cooking, but those were the creamiest mashed potatoes I’ve ever had. The chicken breast on both entrees was so tender you could cut it with a fork. The desserts were phenomenal, and our waitress was awesome. The restaurant was also very clean and has a great atmosphere. Will definitely be stopping again on our next trip home.

3 years agoService and food were good. The Lobster Bisque was a little too thickened with flour and had lumps in it, but the balsamic dressing was wonderful. Our waitress was prompt and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by a waiting area that resembled a garden room. Lovely!

Edited a year agoI have lived in Duncannon for a long time but have never been here... until today. What a great place! It was nice and clean, has great food and very friendly service. I got a cheeseburger and hubby loved his PA-Dutch-style chicken & waffles. We will definitely come back! Update: just adding some new menu and food pics.

Edited a year agoStopped here on the way home from Maryland after Christmas this is the second time we've stopped at this location traveling up from Maryland. The food is excellent and not overly priced. Nice Decor inside with a lot of stained wood and service was good. Wife had lasagna and I had a bacon cheeseburger. Homemade desserts too.
