See All ReviewsWas super excited to come to this place because of its high reviews and I ordered the half roasted pork and roasted duck over rice. Most of the duck “meat” consisted of bone and there was a few pin feathers still stuck on the skin. Dissatisfied to say the least
As a Hong Konger, I can say this is simply the most authentic cantonese restaurant in philly. The roasted pork is always juicy and tender, and everything on the menu is cooked to the order with a very nostalgic to me cantonese flavor. You can add ingredients/ make minor adjustments to almost any dish and they will happily do it just like most other authentic chinese places! Everything is super cheap also, it is almost impossible to get a meal with soup these days and still come out under $15. This will forever be my regular lunch spot as long as I'm still working in Center City.
Ive tried multiple Chinese BBQ locations chasing a particular flavor. Without realizing it, Id been changing the taste Mkee consistently provides. I don't live close by first discovered them during COVID. It's consistently been the best duck, char sui, and roast pork place I've had. I love their food and you would too. Fyi they prefer cash, and venmo. Order from here and you won't be disappointed
