2 months agoWe had such a great experience at Macho’s Grill in Forest Park! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. I had the marinated pork (al pastor) taco, a steak taco, and the carne a la parrilla. My fiancé had a steak taco and the cecina estilo Guerrero. The al pastor taco was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, so flavorful and juicy. The steak tacos were incredibly well seasoned, and you could taste that perfect sear on the meat. The carne a la parrilla (skirt steak) was tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The cecina estilo Guerrero was also packed with flavor and seasoned just right. Every single meat we tried was perfectly seared and tender. You can tell they know what they’re doing in the kitchen. We would definitely come back again and can’t wait to try more from the menu!

6 months agoThe Pastor buritto is outstanding! A ton of meat, and proportions in the buritto were perfect. Will have to try the steak next time. The red sauce is really hot.

11 months agoThis is by far our favorite place to go to for lunch! The staff is always super friendly, the food always hits the spot I am not sure why there’s a few reviews about it not being all that. It’s probably people picking up food and eating it cold! You want good food? It’s always best to it there and then. At the very moment it comes out the kitchen! Everything is delicious but my all time favorites are La tampiqueña, carne a la India and the steak taco dinner. Don’t skip the horchata and enjoy the handmade tortillas!

a year agoThe food was ok, the salsa was excellent though being a warm spicy salsa. However they were skimpy telling us they would change for more than 2 small baskets of chips. They also only gave us one napkin. That's one of the reasons why it was ok

2 years agoFood was amazing and the service was incredible! Both servers super friendly and checked on us multiple times. Tortillas and food were super fresh and delicious!

3 years agoThis place has some good food, some of the combination plates give you options to try different things off the menu. I had the 2 chicken enchiladas 1 taco and sope 5/5. My lovely wife had the asada quesadilla 1 chicken taco and tastada. The drinks were to die for we had the jamaica water habiscus water 5/5. The waitress and everyone at the place was friendly, i highly reccomend this place if your around the neighborhood Tip your servers!

Edited 2 years agoDelicious! They have homemade tortillas! The salsa is warm and very tasty. We enjoyed the queso fundido a la Mexicana and the chilaquiles with eggs and steak. We also tried a steak taco.

5 years agoOkay this place has pretty good food. Not to bad of meat. Rice tasted good beans tasted good and the price was nice. They have indoor seating no outside. I ordered out and surprised they gave tortillas chips for free to go with my order. I liked that alot. I will be ordering from them more often.
