See All ReviewsComing from Texas, I've found that most places around here just don't deliver when it comes to flavor -- but Macos Taco actually did a pretty solid job! The corn tortillas were fresh, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. Overall, I really enjoyed the tacos. They offer two salsas -- roja and verde -- if you want to add a little something extra. I asked for the one with some heat (supposedly the roja), but this is where Tennessee Mexican food always seems to miss the mark for me. Where's the spice? I need a little caliente in my life!
I kept hearing about this place and finally got to try it out for lunch. It was delicious. I got the grande burrito and my husband got the chicken tacos. The tacos even come with guac on them with no extra charge. Their red salsa is great, not overly spicy but has a nice kick. The chipotle salsa is good too. Definitely coming back soon.
Had the carne asada and pastor tacos. They were delicious. Pastor was my favorite. Only needed 2 the taco had plenty of meat, onion, guacamole and cilantro. The tortillas appeared to be homemade and were so fresh. Definitely will be coming back soon. It’s a small place so if you have a large group take out would be best.
