Favorite burger in Texas? Quite possibly. I was here years ago and still remember how absurdly life-affirming it was. The bun was buttery, toasty, and crisp in ways a bun should and shouldn’t be. Still heavanly regardless. The patty was hot and juicy, to the extent that I spilled a concerning amount of it on my pants in the car. I would drive hundreds of miles just to have that burger again — and probably speed a little.
Very clean and friendly place. The food was great. The burgers were seasoned very well and tasted homemade. I loved my southwest burger. The guac was fresh and the patties on the burgers were the perfect size (thick). The buns weren’t soggy!! I would recommend 10x
Have been going here for a long time. Haven’t been to the new location. Got two MadMac’s and a southwest. They look absolutely amazing and taste as good as they look. If you don’t know about this place, you’re definitely sleeping on it. One of the few and true Mom and pop Burger joint in San Antonio.
