a month agoFirst time ever getting food here. I ordered salmon rice bowl it was delicious, but a little spicy. If they can turn down the spicy, I would give a 5 star.Thank for having great food in the neighborhood. Blessings

4 months agoThis is a very quaint restaurant with a small eating area. However, I could eat their food at the booth, in a car, train, anywhere as long as I eat. Their food is delicious. The wait time for my order was much shorter than I thought. The service was great and they were so pleasant and patient, since I took a minute to decide what I wanted. They have an amazing menu. I will definitely go there again.

5 months agoI went to this restaurant 2 times. The first time I ordered an oxtail potato, rice chicken, and a breakfast burrito with chorizo. They didn't have the Chorizo for the burrito so we subbed steak. When I got home I noticed they gave me steak instead of chicken on the rice plate. The burrito had a large eggshell that I chewed, not good. The oxtail was good and the steak rice with the sauce was delicious. The food was good over all so I wanted to give them another chance to get a perfect 5 stars. The second time I went I ordered the rice chicken again and rice oxtail. The second time the food was horrible. The rice didn't have the same flavor not even similar to the first time. The chicken was dry and the broccoli was mush. The oxtail was just little hard pieces of salty meat with no bone unlike the first time. I could not even get thru a couple of bites before my stomach started to turn. I really liked the food the first time even with the mistakes, but I probably won't be back for a third. The pictures are from the second time.

Edited 5 months agoThe food from this place was NOTHING like it showed online. My husband purchased food from here for our family. The person working the register told him she was unable to give a receipt when he paid. When he got to the car we opened the containers to check our order and the food looked disgusting. He went back into the restaurant to make them aware. The cashier said that they were missing ingredients and also that the usual cook was not working at this time. She gave my husband her number and stated to text her and she would reach out to the owner. It has been two months and I’ve yet to receive the refund or any resolution regarding this as they stated we would. Here’s photos of the conversation with the cashier and also my conversation with the owner. Edited to respond: I received a notification from my bank yesterday stating that the restaurant trying to fight my dispute that was placed once I never received a resolution regarding this (back in November). If this is an issue from past management that no longer works here I would assume you shouldn’t be fighting a claim from previous ownership/management. I will delete the post once I am sure my money is returned. Thank you.

5 months agoThe salmon rice and chicken strips were absolutely amazing! The salmon was perfectly cooked—tender, flaky, and full of flavor—and paired beautifully with the rice, which was fluffy, well-seasoned, and comforting. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The chicken strips were just as impressive: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right. They weren’t greasy at all and had a great crunch. Both dishes were incredibly satisfying and clearly made with care. I would 100% order them again—highly recommended!

5 months agoFirst time visiting I got the salmon wrap. my first bite was oh my damn it was so good so flavorful. Will be back to try other food items.

7 months agoThe young man that took my order was so nice and professional. They was busy people was being rude rushing the young man but he stayed cool calm and relaxed. Really appreciate the service. The owner came in and apologized for the delays which I appreciated and he was so nice and polite. Love it when I can support our own and receive great service and food. Omg that Salmon over Rice♥️♥️♥️

10 months agoI just tried the food here first time today! I got the chicken quesadillas! The pricing is good, food is GREAT! The smoothies are also great! Literally made from scratch lol. The two girls in there were super friendly! Definitely recommend!
