See All ReviewsDr.Maimon is a wonderful, caring, knowledgeable doctor. She helped me in the hospital with a serious GI bleed. She listened to my concerns and made me feel that I was in good hands. Her staff are so friendly and kind. Thank you for taking such good care of me. I highly recommend this office.
I went to Dr. Maimon back in November 2024 as a referral from the hospital due to an accidental finding of polyps on my gallbladder. During my visit to her, she briefed over the report and hit me with “These polyps indicate cancer, we need to remove the gallbladder”. She then tried to quote me with the price of getting an endoscopy soon with her before scheduling surgery - It didn’t sit well with me her trying to sell me on surgery. Being a fairly young guy, you can imagine the flood of anxiety and concerns one can get when you hear the word cancer. Trusting my judgement, I went to another doctor for a second opinion and was told that these polyps DO NOT indicate cancer and something I shouldn’t worry about and to get an official ultrasound first. Fast forward to the ultrasound, even the sonographer was thoroughly confused on why she said I’d have cancer - Clean bill of health and no concerns for cancer. Now out $100 for a 5 minute visit and months of anxiety, my experience with her practice of medicine was nothing short of terrible. I will not and do not recommend her to anybody.
The doctor herself is nice and so is the front desk staff but the wait time being an hour and a half, just to see my test results from a procedure that happened two weeks ago? I didn’t really like that. I’m glad I put my health first and got checked out but this kinda wasted my time I had other stuff I needed to do.
