Brisket? Amazing? Ribs? Great. Mac n cheese? Awesome. Okay- ready for the REAL review? Another NW Houston food truck that doesn't exist. I drove there (not that far out of my way, just wanting to confirm my hunch that it wasn't there)- and well, guess what? There's a food truck there selling empanadas- no barbecue. Just another misleading Google Maps entry that ain't there, yo.
I got the rib sandwich and for some reason they took the meat off the bone. The meat was old and dry. Some of the meat was so dry and hard it was not editable. In all my years of eating bbq I have never gotten a rib sandwich with the meat removed from the bone and there was no smoked flavor to the meat at all. Bottom line it was a waste if $23. But on a more positive note the collard greens were good.
Amazing experience! We had the most amazing bbq! I will continue to bring my team back!
