Stopped for dinner during grand opening on way back from day trip to Point Pleasant. Outstanding. Huge portions, fresh food and great service. Our server, Amelia, was amazing. Pleasant, friendly and very attentive. A definite asset to this diner. Not inexpensive but worth the price. Soup and salad with each dinner entrée. We got surf & turf stir fry and the land and sea dinner. Excellent food, very big portions. Cooked perfectly. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend this diner.
So inviting and welcoming. The food is scrumptious and so beautifully presented. Such a blessing to gather here for such delicious and savory meals and friendly courteous service. I had an amazing fig frittata. Ilana did an amazing job. We look forward to frequenting often.
First off the place was freezing not even sure if the heat was on. I ordered a hamburger with bacon and charged $19.50, ridiculous and was up charged $2 for sweet potato fries. I think there were about 10 fries in the basket. Also ordered was a salad that came with a bad hard boiled egg and little pieces of chicken , maybe one piece that was chopped up. It was loaded with lettuce and hardly any protein. My hot chocolate tasted like water although the waitress brought a new one over and it was better than the first. Overall it’s over priced and food not that great, won’t be going back there again that’s for sure
Been waiting for them to reopen. Renovations looked awesome. Was a little disappointed in breakfast. The breakfast burrito was very good. However, my toast came out cold and I asked for a side of biscuit sausage gravy. The gravy I was served was dark brown and very salty. Almost like roast beef gravy. We questioned the server and she assured us it was biscuit gravy. Will go back next time for lunch.
Great local diner! Friendly service, delicious food done right, and generous portions. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the atmosphere had that welcoming, hometown feel. Perfect spot for breakfast or a casual meal. Definitely coming back.
We were a party of six looking for a bite to eat before heading home from the beach, and Kitchen 35 did not disappoint! We called ahead to check the wait time, and to our surprise, a spacious booth was already prepared for us upon arrival. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious — everyone at the table loved their meal — and the desserts were truly unmatched. This spot is a hidden gem and we’ll definitely be coming back.
First time at Kitchen 35. Great menu choices. Since I was taking so long, I just got a ham and cheese omelette. It came with potatoes and toast, which I substituted for English muffins. Everything was good. A large portion of potatoes as well. The coffee wasn't bad except it was never hot enough. My wife ordered the banana walnut pancakes and she really enjoyed them. The restaurant was very nice. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming and our waitress was also very friendly and great.
Me & the wife stopped in for breakfast. The atmosphere, service and food was good. I do recommend and we will be back. We ordered the shrimp, eggs & grits. Also had a side of turkey sausage and potatoes. Had to take half home to finish later ( Large Portions)
