Four and a half stars. The truth is, finding a buffet these days that does not require a loan officer standing next to the dessert station is getting harder and harder. So when Mandy Mediterranean shows up with a buffet for $19.99, that gets my attention. And yes, I have decided the “Mandy” must stand for mandatory, because if you are in the area, you really should check this place out. The buffet offers a nice mix of Indian and Mediterranean dishes, and everything I tried tasted fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The real move, though, is making sure you get some of the fresh baked naan. Warm naan at a buffet is basically a cheat code for happiness. The butter chicken had a little more edge to it than the creamy version I am used to, but that may just be a different cultural dialect of flavor. It was still good, just a little more assertive than expected. All in all, this is a strong spot with good variety, fresh food, and a price that feels refreshingly reasonable. If you are hungry and want options, Mandy Mediterranean is absolutely worth a visit.
We tried the buffet. I wasn't impressed with the buffet options. They had chicken with the bone. Seemed to be more bone than chicken. More vegetable options. The Naan very delicious. It is served on a wooden holder. The plates used for the buffet were plastic and plastic utensils. Drink options were minimal. Canned drinks with no diet or sugar free options. Service was good. Friendly folks. Ambiance was casual. I need to come back and see if tge buffet has different options. I need to try ordering off the menu.
