First off congrats to owners for having 100 percent on everything. This is the first review I have ever been able to say that on. The waitress was so attentive and pleasant. The food see pictures attached. Was absolutely the best food I've ever eaten... and that says alot!!!! I would recommend this place to everyone to try. It was amazing. Even the decore made me feel at ease and like moms old place. Thank you for the wonderful food.
I do not recommend coming here. My wife and I visited for a Saturday dinner. The service was extremely slow and not particularly friendly. The portion size was pitiful; I paid $14+ for 6 small cheese filled raviolis and a subpar salad. My wife ordered the 9” taco pizza which was more appropriate. Dirty bathrooms, dirty dishes, and overall a disappointing experience.
Excellent Food and just as Excellent service! Everything tasted top of the line!! I would highly recommend!!! We couldn't even finish all the food there was so much. Can't wait to go back. Plus, you can eat in!
New waitress didn't know what was being served. Told me chicken when pork in a soup and allergic.. then think sauce on sandwich had beef meatballs in it that were not used and a chicken sandwich. If I wasn't allergic it would have been fine, tasted great. Place run down but friendly and clean.
The waitress was working unbelievably hard. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or what. The food took a really long time. We went on a Friday for a fish dinner, but the fish was overcooked and tough. In general very mediocre tasting food. One wall had old family photos of the founders, which were sort of interesting, but otherwise the place was pretty dated and drab. I hope the waitress gets some help, but we won't go back. There are a couple other restaurants in town we like so much better.
Manny's has excellent good and excellent service! We went there between breakfast and lunch do we had our choice of menu items from both. Bridget was an awesome server and was so friendly! The food was served quickly scratch made from the kitchen. If go back again on a heartbeat. Check it out when you are in Ironwood, MI.
Manny's isn't much to look out, either inside or out. Let's just say it is very basic. There is a bar on one side and seating on the other, neither of which are very impressive. The food is Italian, so that is what I went with. Gnocchi (which, for reasons unbeknownst to me, appears to be served at every restaurant in town) was heavy and doughy, just like the way my mother used to make. The cheese ravioli were excellent, far better than I would have expected, served with a dense, rich, cream sauce. Unfortunately, the salad bar was one of the saddest I have ever witnessed, but in a town where fresh vegetables are few and far between, I suppose beggars cannot be choosers. Our server, whom readily admitted she had just started working there (and will have likely no longer be there by the time you read this review), was generally unskilled, with absolutely no knowledge of the menu, but was competent enough to get our order in properly and bring it to our table,.
Love Manny's. Great food and always good service. Friday nights during Lent they have a phenomenal seafood buffet. During the rest of the year, I highly suggest anything with their homemade noodles! Sirloin tips over homemade noodles is my favorite dish.
