I have been eating at Mardi Gras since they were in the old building on 271. I will say, this is THE LAST TIME I will be eating there. Crawfish were overcooked and seasonless, etoufe was slop, shrimp was rubber. The waitress/bartender was not friendly at all. She didn't smile one time. She was more worried about flirting with the guys playing pool. Terry Cameron would never have allowed ANY of this. The food was always amazing and staff was always friendly. I highly recommend staying FAR AWAY FROM here. ALSO, THIS PLACE REEKS OF CIG SMOKE!
For it being a restaurant it was darker than a dungeon. I had the crawfish boil that was suppose to be spicy. Very laughable at best. A infant could have had the spice. The crawfish was hard to peel either cause it was frozen before it was cooked or overcooked in general. The corn is definitely prepackaged and didn’t have any season and the potatoes was as bland as coming out of the ground. Never again will I eat here after Terry sold the place. Very disappointed and lost a customer for life.
Overpriced, flavorless seafood. I got the platter with the shrimp, crab, potatoes, corn, and sausage. It was hardly any food at all and it had no sauce or flavor. Was not worth the money but at least they have pool tables.
