We love Maria’s! It’s one of our most favorite places to eat and look forward to the delicious and tasty food! The flavors are amazing!
Best Agua Frescas around! Tacos are great. And, if Strawberry Tres Leches is on the dessert menu for the day, don't pass on it! So good.
Food was excellent, everyone was kind and friendly and it was a small but very cute place! Would definitely recommend!
What a quaint and authentic place tucked away in downtown Winnsboro, TX. Everything was fresh and flavorful with incredible service. Their Aguas Frescas are a must-have!
Wow , what a little family owned gem this place is. I had to go to Winnsboro (30 mile drive) to pick up an ATV and had my wife with me and she wanted to have lunch while we were in town. She found this little restaurant in downtown and it had the highest rated reviews so that’s where we went. To start off the restaurant was very clean (wife loved the atmosphere and said it’s cute) and the waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. The chips came out hot and they were fresh. The hot sauce was homemade and fresh. Luckily it was mild so my wife could eat it and we liked it. My wife ordered the Burria egg rolls and I got the California burrito. It took a little longer than expected but when the food came out we knew why. The egg rolls were stuffed with perfectly flavored Burria and cheese. The burrito is literally the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The food looked amazing and was hot and smelled wonderful. Everything was prepared fresh and to order. I loved that nothing was just sitting and kept warm , it was freshly prepared when we ordered. The Burria dipping juice was really good and the fresh green and red sauces that came out with the food were so good and you could tell freshly made. Both food items were amazing , we couldn’t believe how good the food was. We were raving about the food while we were eating. These 2 items I highly recommend trying. Also the Agua frescas were so good. Wife got the passion fruit/ orange flavor and it was good. This is the best food of any kind I’ve had in years. Even though it’s a long drive we are going there from now on to try other items on the menu. And definitely get the tres leches in a cup chocolate cake was so good. We were eating it on the way home and wished we had gotten 2. I have only posted 2 or 3 reviews ever online , but this restaurant is worth the drive and worth telling people about. I am not afraid to drive a long distance for really high quality great tasting food.
We really liked the Quesabirria tacos and Flaitas were very good. The service was great. Chips were crisp and fresh. Chip salsa was good but I would've loved some smoked peppers in it. The beans really needed some more flavor... Garlic, onion, jalepeno, salt, bacon or chorizo....) We will definitely be back! Loved the Watermelon lemonade!
Best TexMex taqueria breakfast I've had in a long time.. I typically don't get the "breakfast burrito" but this one is huge and extremely edible .lol Great quality, fresh, on point.. Chicken too but especially the pork tamales A+ I got a dozen to go.. $20 That's worth every penny if I compare the quality to most of the tamales I've had in the last many years..
We were told by a friend we needed to try Maria’s Taqueria. After attempting to eat at Haven’s cafe, where we were basically ignored, we went around the corner to Maria’s. Upon entering the taqueria, the place is clean, staff very friendly and the food smells amazing. We were seated and promptly able to place an order. 5 mins later we had a burrito, 2 tacos and chips and salsa on our table. The food is amazing! I will be telling everyone about Maria’s Taqueria. The only thing I would change is that we visited sooner.
