See All ReviewsThey've really upped their game since the last time I was here (a year or so ago). The food is really exceptionally good for a 'diner ', and the service is great. The only downside is that they're only open for breakfast and lunch.
Marine City Grill is always a great choice! The restaurant is very clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious. Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner options are all great. The patty melts and cheese curds are personal favorites of mine and never disappoint. Their takeout is also excellent—food is always fresh, well-packaged, and still warm when you get it home. It’s the kind of place you’re happy to come back to again and again. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area—highly recommend!
Breakfast food: Horrible. Greasy. Overcooked. Cold. Service: Friendly. Lazy. Atmosphere: Dirty. Worn out. Falling apart. Uncomfortable seating. Loud, with frequent flyers shouting across the room to chat with each other from different tables. Seems normal, since the staff joined in on the conversation. Another patron standing up in front of the TV loudly commenting on the programming, as though this was normal behavior. *Wash your dishes. No one wants to eat your previous guests food stuck to the forks. Disgusting. Clearly the good reviews posted here are from people who are either friends of the owners or do not mind a dirty run down old diner with bad food and patrons who have no concern for others. There is nothing worth visiting this restaurant for. One of the worst diners in St Clair County.
