Some of the best brisket and sausage ever! And the green beans, too!
Debra, Johnathan & Nicholas have the best BBQ in Karnes County! Watch out BBQ Capital of Texas, Karnes City!
Gotta admit this made a memory. Probably the worst barbecue I’ve had in my life and I’ve been raised on Texas Barbecue. We threw it all out after just several bites and couldn’t believe it could this bad. A table in front of us did the same thing. Don’t be fooled by false reviews evidently paid for or done by close friends or family members. $27 down the drain.
This is what you get for 28.00. 5 pieces of sausage 7 pieces of brisket 1 bread small cup of potatoe salad and small cup of barbecue sauce. Almost 30 dollars.
I have been going to the Market since 1960. I grew up eating there. It was a Saturday ritual. I went there 2 wks ago and was severely disappointed the sausage was not up to their normal standards it tasted like it was bought rather than homemade. The sauce which is normally spectacular was mediocre. The brisket is usually so tender it falls apart was more like a brick. I would not recommend eating there again, until these issues have been fixed.
This is absolutely the best place to get barbecue brisket and ribs within 50 miles. I wasn’t as crazy about their type of sausage or potato salad but their barbecue sauce is unique and one of the best that I have ever tasted. They are a small operation and usually sell out pretty quickly, but if you get any you won’t be disappointed.
Best BBQ in the area, better than Lulings as well. Top 10 in TX, in my opinion
First time going, my mom and I had brisket and potato salad. Brisket was delicious. I am very picky when it comes to my potato salad, but this one was simply delicious. Definitely going back soon. Very friendly people there as well. Love how they conversate with you.
