By far, the best pizza I have ever eaten!!!! My bike group eats there once a year, that is how I found out about it as I live 45 min. away. The distance is no problem for me to get this so delicious pizza. Going there to day to buy a pizza for my birthday!!
The entrance can be difficult to find your first time so I made it simple with a picture I took! I was in the neighborhood & in the mood for pizza 🍕 so I tried both Marlene's & Al's back to back. I have seen a lot of people hype this pizza up saying it's the best in PA so I finally gave it a try but I wasn't blown away like I expected to be, maybe because my expectations were raised so high due to people comments. It's not bad, it was just okay to me. I don't want to say anything bad about the place, the staff was friendly & very helpful maybe I'll give it another try sometime with a different pizza.
I think I'm mostly nostalgic with how I feel about Marlene's. I loved their pizza as a child, and whenever I visit family in the area, it's still must get. I'm not sure if it's amazing pizza, but I grew up on it, and really love it still with green pepper and onions as my favorite toppings. It's nothing fancy, but it's tasty!
