This is a small town cafe. You will be served on old walmart plates. The booth seats will take a minute to adjust to. But the food is amazing and the service is always great. This is what a cozy kitchen cafe in small town Texas should be. Best cafe breakfast in Graham. P.S. you want the biscuit. The toast is good toast but the biscuit is 🤟
This is a mom and pop shop that serves sandwiches. They have sandwiches, you can dine in, in exchange for money. If that's the extent of your criteria in order to award 5 stars, then that's the score you should expect. But people giving this place 5 stars are the reason why there's no trust and integrity in reviews anymore. The food was very mediocre, and the worst sin - expensive. One Reuben sandwich with a drink and Sun chips = $12.00. Why, in a town of 8000 population? In the middle of Nowhere, Texas? I suppose this will be one of those "because the economy"kind of arguments. It was not terrible - it was just VERY unexceptional, and un-special. Like getting a sandwich from a grandma that never quite learned how to cook and is only touted as a "good cook" because no one has the heart to tell her otherwise. The service is just fine. Yes - "welcome y'all" kind of Texas hospitality. But when I visited, it was sans a smile and positive attitude. The atmosphere is that kind of "50 year old furniture that needs updating, but keeping it keeps the charm" type, even though the benches and tables feel like they could easily break. I'm sure this is a Graham staple, and the owners are very nice. But as far as value, quality of food, flavor, etc - that's not something you'd really find here. All the food items we tried seemed very generic, nothing really "home made", no real reason to eat here for the food itself, as opposed to making yourself a sandwich at home. If you're in town, you won't really go wrong coming here for lunch, but you can definitely go right somewhere else.
Small town eats are the best! We got the club and the Ruben and both were good. The wheat bread for the club was SO soft. Great place for a quick bite.
