I had a very disappointing experience at Dr. Maroules’ office today. My appointment was scheduled for 2:45 PM and I arrived at 1:58 PM because I value being on time. Instead of being welcomed, the front desk staff complained that I was too early. The waiting area is extremely small with limited seating, so I had to stand most of the time. By 3:11 PM, I still hadn’t been called, so I politely asked about my appointment. The staff member at the window was very rude and told me they don’t actually go by appointment times — they go by a list of who arrived first. That makes no sense if appointments are being scheduled. After waiting even longer, I asked to cancel my appointment because I couldn’t keep waiting. The staff member simply said “okay” and shut the window in my face. No apology, no professionalism, no concern for my time. I spent $60 on Lyft just to come here and left without even being seen. This office does not respect patients’ time and the customer service was extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning. Since I was never seen and will never return, I do not give permission for my medical information or records to be obtained or kept on file.
