See All ReviewsI don’t like leaving bad reviews but I feel that I owe this to other people who have dietary needs. I have sensitive celiacs and always try to find safe restaurants to eat it. Martina’s advertises many of their menu items as “gluten free” “gluten friendly”. I ordered their southeast nachos before their menu changed and didn’t have a huge problem with them. A small stomach ache and an early morning wake up from my digestive system, which is normal for a small amount of gluten ingested. I assumed this was due to some strong cross-contamination. Definitely not preferable, but not a deal-breaker. However, the last visit I had was terrible. They changed their menu so I ordered their gluten free quesadilla (specifically) with chicken and a side of their gluten free Mac and cheese. Both my boyfriend and I made sure to inform the waitress of my dietary needs. I started feeling funky about an hour after leaving the restaurant and then literally spent the rest of my night sitting next to the toilet, throwing up until 2 am. It was literally one of the worst experiences I’ve had with being glutened since being diagnosed two years ago. Again, I don’t like to post negative reviews but I know I would like to be warned of this. I’m not sure if this is an issue with the kitchen, wait staff or a disgustingly irresponsible use of mis-advertising but I know I can’t return. It’s not a huge deal if a restaurant simply doesn’t offer items for those with dietary needs. However, you should not be advertising yourself as so if you do not do so safely.
Wasn't what I expected, the brisket was great they allowed me to order it on fajitas, but outside of the that customer service was subpar at best, and my companions food was cold and under cooked, my sons food was cold everything tasted like it was from the night before. Being that I work in the restaurant industry I get that sometimes food is left from the previous night but if that was the case why was it still undercooked chicken in the fajitas? Beautiful on the inside just need to work on consistency consistency is key in the restaurant business
Really cool interior with the stamped tin ceiling, and the brick details. The staff was super friendly, and the food was great. I would definitely recommend it 🙂
