3 visits while in Tin Top... 1st visit, I asked for a loaded omelet with EVERYTHING on it... I didn't think to ask for a price because it wasn't on the menu. I'm from Eufaula, OK and LOVE "I Smell Bacon". They have a loaded omelet that's called THE BIG PIG and it runs right at $14 with fried potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. This one ended up costing $20 but I had enough for 3 servings. I took it back to our Air BnB and a friend are the rest of it in one sitting. The food along with the service was absolutely amazing. The 2nd visit, I had a chicken fried steak. I didn't think to ask if it was hand breaded, and it WAS NOT... but it wasn't too terribly bad for a frozen pre-breaded chicken fried steak dinner. The 3rd visit, I had a cheeseburger and my husband had a fried chicken sandwich. The cheeseburgers were good but my husband said the breaded chicken sandwich was just ok. Very friendly staff and great service!!!
I grew up in weatherford, i have heard mention of this cafe since i was a kid. It has been a name-sake staple of weatherford my whole life, but i had never dined there myself One lazy sunday morning, i decided on a whim, to check this place out. I was intrigued by the mention of generous portions, as well as a comfortable atmosphere. I left full, with my expectations not only satisfied, but also exceeded. My server Taylor was ver kind and attentive. She had a good sense of urgency, and took no time to rest in between customers. She clearly went out of her way for each table. Thr food i ordered was steak and eggs, as well as biscuits and gravy served S.o.S. The steak was perfectly seared, served medium rare, and evenly cooked. The seasoning was just right, as not to overpower the eggs. Its been a long time since i felt obliged to leave a 5 star review in my hometown. I was thoroughly impressed, and foolish for waiting so long to visit.
Service was really good!! Waitress was very nice and our food was out quickly!! Curly fries and corn nuggets were very good, so were the burgers. They make a mean burger let me tell you 10/10
