Food was excellent. I had the Country Fried Steak. The Gravy was great. The Country Fried steak equally as well. the Service was top notch. I was happy to make it here on a rare trip back home.

My husband and I dont get to Dixon often but when we do, this is our breakfast stop! Still the same great food and great service year after year. First thing needed was coffee! Our waitress VAL understood the mission and started us off right. (and with plenty of refills) My husband asked for her recommendation because he wanted a steak and the chicken fried steak was the winner. Val knew what she was talking about- we were blown away! So tender and flavorful. So much so, we may just come back for this alone Haha. (and this is something we rarely order) I ordered the blueberry pancakes (so good with the crispy edges) with my bacon n eggs but alas it was too much. Val saw me wrapping my bacon in a napkin (for our 🐶) and she came over with some foil and said this will be way better. Val to the rescue! Til next time Mary's!
