2 weeks agoVery homey. Customer service makes you feel like family. Clean. Best carne guisada I've ever had. I live 4 hours away. When I come into town I always eat here.

2 months agoI think there is only one waitress, so forgive her if she takes a minute to initially get to you. She is super nice and provides friendly service. Food is always good. There is a surcharge is you pay by card, so take cash. We're here nearly every Saturday.

7 months agoFood was really good. I went for breakfast had the huevos rancheros with bacon and added some fried sausage. The tortillas were soft and fresh. The bacon was thick and perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed it! The service could have been better. We had to call our server to get refills. After we our plates were served, the server didn't come back to check on us unless we managed to wave her down.

10 months agoEveryone seems incredibly friendly and joyful, first time here, got the Monday lunch special pork chops, not falling off the bone, but I didn't really have to use the knife, very flavorful. The salsa came with the chips was one of a kind, I've never tasted anything quite like it, its a little warm and very tomato y, I loved it.

a year agoHave been coming for Friday's beef rib plate now for over 15 years. Look forward to it every week. Nothing better in all of S.A. and I eat a lot of beef. Friendly staff and fellow diners. Have ordered breakfast tacos for over 150 staff a couple times and they are always a hit!

a year agoI had not eaten here in about 10 yrs and about 10 before that. This place was a middle school morning/breakfast ritual a few times per wk w a handful of friends. The lady who waited on us had waited on us at kids. She said she has been there 29 yrs! This is one of the ONLY places I'll order carne guisada tacos and it's JUST AS GOOD as I remember, as is the iced tea and other tacos ordered. Great food & service presented fairly quick each time. Nice if you don't have a ton of time and wanna quick bite or for lunch brk. STILL LOVE THIS PLACE!

4 years agoHad Valerie's plate and it did not disappoint, puffy taco, flauta, cheese enchilada, rice and beans was delicious and the price was reasonable. The tortillas was really soft and fresh. It was my first time there and I felt so welcomed, definitely will be going back again.
