I had a lengua taco for $5 and it was a regular size one . I thought it was one of them huge tacos i heard so much about.. waitress said that the really big one was the special taco which she didn’t mention when I asked about the size of the taco that if was BIG . . Im just going to eat this puny taco and get outta here . I won’t be coming back. Ever
Service was great and food freshly made my soon love the pancakes and sausage
I went here to try the lengua lampreada. I hadn’t been able to find a restaurant near me that served it. If you like chili rellenos and also like lengua, you will love this!! It’s basically lengua cooked, dipped in a batter similar to the one used for chili rellenos, and then fried. It’s served with salsa ranchero. It was so delicious!!!! My lengua was tender. I was able to cut it with a fork. The salsa ranchero was perfect. The refried beans were the perfect consistency, not too thick and not greasy. The homemade corn tortillas were the perfect thickness and enhanced the flavor of everything on my plate. My husband had the lengua guisada, and he also liked it a lot. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive.
Walked in to try this place because of reels and tik toks. Not worth the trouble and time. Wakes in and observed a young lady leaning against a counter, no smile, no greeting but a frown. My father and I sat ourselves and waited for a server. She came over and was very rushed and couldn’t quite understand at how fast she spoke. Ordered our food and to say it was way overrated is an understatement. Menudo had whole red chiles in it. Lukewarm at best and had very little flavor. Only saving grace was the barbacoa taco. Will definitely not be returning and at least I tried it out. Good luck with the charming personality that greets anyone walking in to eat there.
No vale Bertha 🤢🤮😵💫 Don’t waste you time or money. The food is overly priced. The food was bland, no seasoning. The lengua was under cooked, and tough. La morcilla was even worse. I don’t recommend this restaurant…
Food fresh and delicious and great staff very friendly
The asada nopal was so delicious. Homemade flour tortillas came out perfectly made and tasty. Chicken chilaquiles mixed plate was different and also delicious. The salsa is a bit thin but flavorful. True local treasure. They even had a lunchtime singer entertaining.
Good tacos and good customer service but don't order the migas. Doesn't have enough egg.
