See All ReviewsCelebrated my birthday here! They prepared me a very cute ice cream dessert with birthday candle! So thoughtful of them! I couldn't recommend more.
For a restaurant offering All You Can Eat options, the quality and presentation of the food is in the top tier. There is a fair amount of variety when it comes to broth and they do provide enough vegetables and side dish choices to make the meal complete. The higher tiers of AYCE are most worth it for the non-meat choices in my opinion. Service is good but when it's busy, it suffers from the crowded nature of small spaces and the service can be a bit slow since they spend extra time on presentation. The wagyu is great for quality and I would say you can easily get your money's worth on quality instead of over-eating to recoup the cost. Great weekday dinner spot in Japantown and a good casual date night.
Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and I'm surprised more people didn't. Maybe they were like us and didn't know what shabu shabu is or what they offered, but a quick search told us we were in for a lot of yummy food. We went with the mid grade all you can eat (68 per person) and ordered all the meats and lots of veggies. You can get two different broths, we had the delicious tonkotsu and the spicy waygu which was VERY spicy to me, but still tasty. Staff was SO nice and helpful, explained anything we didn't know on the menu and how to best cook with the hot pot. The food was excellent and way easier to cook compared to Korean BBQ which is the closest experience I've had to this. Appetizers were delicious too, but I wanted more room for the mouth-watering wagyu and we couldn't finish all our appetizers. The gyoza and the garlic cucumber were our favs. I wish we had an AYCE hot pot place where I'm from! We definitely hope to come back some day!
