3 months agoLong wait time for food. Waitress never checked on us after we got our food. Don't order country fried steak skillet and expect a whole country fried steak or a skillet ..it was cut up like you were feeding it to a young toddler and all on a plate. Had to wait a bit after we were finished for waitress to decide to come out from back area to get our check and we were only ones in there. Disappointed. Won't be coming back.

6 months agoIt took awhile to get service but that's expected when the place is so packed there was only one table open when we got there. That alone tells you how good the place is tbh. The food was good and the prices aren't too bad.

7 months agoWe had a party of six for lunch,the Hawaiian chicken sandwich was delicious.Meat lovers skillet and silver dollar pancakes were great.

7 months agoThe kid was verry nice but we stood there watching him struggle to make a milk shake. This place has all kids working in it, didnt see an adult.

10 months agoMax Family Diner has been opened a year. In that time, most of the waiters have learned nothing! Today for breakfast, I waited over 15 minutes before the waiter even noticed me; I sat with the same 5 people I generally sit with. I got my coffee but it was 15 minutes before the group that joined me got theirs. I had to actually get up and get our silverware and had to ask someone to wait on us. After I ate, I was still hungry and asked for a full order of biscuits and graveyard. I specifically asked that it be hot! Of course it wasn't hot! I have repeatedly sent back cold b & g. If it wasn't that I enjoyed the customers so, I wouldn't go back!

a year agoI am obsessed with their grilled chicken BLT's. I have one at least twice a week. Their seasoned fries are delicious with their ranch, i believe it's homemade. I've also tried their omelets and they are a great choice for breakfast! It is on Vine st so sometimes it can be difficult finding a parking space depending on time and what day of the week it is.

2 years agoWe went Sunday and really enjoyed the food! Double Cheeseburgers had a nice flavor, like grilled out. Onion rings very good and Strawberry Shake very good. Prices very reasonable and place looks very nice. Lots of breakfast and sandwich options.
