Edited 5 months agoDon’t go here if you’ve been to maxwells outwest or by UIC. I got a polish and I went to my car after receiving it to eat it and it was cold. I did not finish it even though I was hungry. Cheese cup was just sitting in their station cold as well. The grilled onions were not good either. Whenever I go to the maxwells by UIC then head home (15min eta), my polish will still be hot when I arrive home. The salsa for their tacos is good and spicy, the steak taco just needs salt. My fiancé got a double cheeseburger with bacon and that was good and actually hot. I will not be back

6 months agoMaxwell street polish with the onions never disappointed anyone. You can smell the food half a mile away. So 👍 good

7 months agoOutstanding hot dogs, and the best hot pepper on op i have ever tasted. I eat at a lot of hot dog places, so i dont hand out compliments often.

7 months agoI had a terrible experience at the Maxwell Street Polish on 7445 S State. The service was rude and unprofessional, and I was treated with no respect as a paying customer. On top of that, the cashier even tried to cheat me out of my money. The staff showed no concern for customer service, and it completely ruined my visit. I will not be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone until they improve how they treat people.

3 years agoOh I truly love their Polish sausage I remember living there over 7 to 10 years ago and they will always have this special on Tuesdays you get the police Sasha combo and every Tuesday that would be my dinner so I knew that when I made it back to Illinois for the holiday season I had to get a Polish a Polish combo I was not leaving Illinois until I stopped at Maxwell Street police sausage I give it five stars and I recommend that you too would try the Maxwell Polish sausage they are so good

6 years agoGreat as always, ordered the cheeseburger and polish, both came with grilled onions and mustard. Steamed buns on the polish with free fries, classic goodness #Comfortfood. No lines as it was a week day, open 24-7.
