9 months agoJust spoke with a guy on the food and was trying to find out if they have jollof? I needed him to repeat what he said and he just hang up on me. Bad customer service, it would have been my first time to eat here but will not go there.

a year agoThe best suya spot in Indy. Very lean suya and not too much fat. I’ve tried suya in other cities like Dallas and Houston, but I love the suya here the most. For $20 it’s worth it, would love if they could increase the quantity a bit more though. But amazing flavor.

a year agothe place was a random find, we never even knew that west african barbecue was a thing. glad we found this. we got the Kulikuli Suya and the hot peppered half chicken suya, both were great. especially the kulikuli suya. it was spicy, hot and delicious. the person who took the order was kind to give us a sample of the different flavors as it was our first time there. I would definitely give this place a visit.

a year agoThe place is very clean. Learning it has only been around for year or a so it’s a gem in Indianapolis! Very good service and nice food when you’re on the run and want a taste of Africa! Reasonable prices! Ate the food before I could take a picture!!

a year agoThe flavor of the suya was pretty good. However 85% of my suya was FAT. Like literally fat thinly sliced. I had 5 pieces of meat out of all of this. Have you no shame? Why are you selling fat disguised as suya? I paid $25 for fat coated in spices, ridiculous.

3 years agoThis place is terrible. The food is terrible. The service is terrible. I live close by and placed an online order. I walked there after I got the notification that my order was ready for pick up. I had to wait ten minutes for my order. I ordered the asun spiced goat meat and beef shawarma. The beef shawarma was literally half of a length-wise cut hot dog, stuffed in a tortilla with coleslaw. The asun spiced goat meat was luke warm and very tough. It came with no side dish/rice/starch and there was no option to order this. It was supposed to come with onion, cucumber, and tomato, but they did not provide this even though it was ordered. While I was picking up my order, there was a couple that walked out due to the wait. They were not busy. They had four customers at two tables and me with an online order. Just horrible overall.
