Worst restaurant ever . Food never taste good🤮🤢
Highly disappointed with my order. I ordered Griot and it was so Dry & Trashy, it’s unchewable. But to make matters worse, I was given tin mackerel in tomato sauce on the side, that has chucks of mackerel in it. I’ve never in my life experience such terrible service. My money wasted on a Sunday night. This experience was absolute Deception.
I was in the mood for Authentic Haitian food and started a google search and to my surprised Merly's restaurant came up. I decided to find out if this food was as good as I have had in Brooklyn NY. When I got the restaurant I was met with music, atmosphere, and people having a grand time . The place was packed and full of welcoming faces. I do not speak creole but the women who took my order spoke English. I order the black rice and goat. Waited for about 10 minutes and I was given my food and got a warm thank you. The food was delicious, savory, and aromatic, just like I use to have in Brooklyn, I will definitely be back to try the fried pork!
