Not open when advertising that they were
I’m going out on a limb that this food truck is associated with the “El Mexsal” restaurant location at Great Neck Blvd. If it is, haven’t been to the restaurant yet, the food truck on the other hand I just raided the joint yesterday. Bottom line, it’s good. They have simple fares, tacos/burritos…no main entrees, it is just a quick and simple food truck. The food menu was pretty good despite serving simple foods. Ordered two of the chorizo and egg burrito, they did say it would be about 10-15min. It was less than 15min for sure, definitely cooked to order, nice and warm. The burrito was big!! Plain and simple egg and chorizo burrito done right, it was a bit greasy….its chorizo, you got to have some grease right? lol. For two it was $19, I felt it was a bit pricey, but now a days I guess that is the norm. They do throw in the typical red and green salsas, which were flavorful and spicy, good job!! They do change locations, down further by the storage(VB blvd), this time I caught them next to the Wawa(VB Blvd/1st Col). I’ll give it to them, it was good, on the go…we can work on the price a bit, over all, very good. I’d like to see more food trucks like this pop up more often, it’s a great idea!! Highly recommend this food truck!! They have my support for sure!
