I’ve lived in the neighborhood nearby my whole life but my best friend showing me this place sealed the deal for me. I love breakfast and their migas tacos are the bomb! They have a deal for 3 of the same breakfast tacos for 5.50 which is a steal. The staff is super friendly and they are quick getting to your order.
This restaurant is a staple for my family. The food and the sweet tea never disappoints, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is authentic. I love the Mexican portraits on the walls. The music reminds me of when I used to have family dinners at my abuelitas casita.
Possibly the best menudo iv had in San Antonio! Also ordered a barbacoa taco and it was delicious not extra greasy at all. The staff is really nice and courteous. I asked the server if they had a more spicy salsa, they didn’t but the owner went into the kitchen and made me a very spicy salsa just for our table. That’s the old school type of service you don’t get now. Will make it my regular breakfast place when in SA.
