See All ReviewsReally enjoyed our dinner at Mica's Mexican Restaurant. So much love and heart was clearly poured into all the entrees, desserts, and drinks - Our waitress is Mica's daughter, and she was so sweet helping us through the menu as well as giving suggestions. Additionally, she told us about her mom's recipes and what made them special. We enjoyed a carne asada torta, chicken mole enchiladas, and some of the desserts! You really don't want to miss this spot - I recommend giving them a try! We'll definitely be back.
Amazing food, even better service! I have had nearly every Mexican joint between Edgewater and Wilmette, and this takes the cake for the best enchiladas I have had. Also they gave me a cup of soup as an extra that was incredible. Highly recommend!
Been back a few times now and definitely have my favorite dishes. Comfort food, their tortas are on point and the fresh bread really shines which is key BUT today I might have moved the pozole to the front of the line. Perfect for a winter day and those deserts, I warn you, once you take a bite you’ll order that flan, cornbread, and tres leches so you and your friends can share. I lastly got converted, as a Colombian who said he would never try a “cafe de olla” again but they make that coffee with JUST the right touch of cinnamon. Don’t knock it till you try it.
