2 months agoI am a door dasher. Today after delivering 2 orders to customers. I went back to try their food. I got Mac and cheese cabbage and 2 smothered pork chops. Absolutely Delicious. Everyone there from behind the counter and cooks and the customers are very friendly. Thanks to All.

2 months agoI just left Mildred’s and I have to say — absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the fried pork chops with yellow rice, mac & cheese, and potato salad, and every single bite was delicious. You can truly taste the quality and care put into the food. I also had a slice of the sour cream cheese pound cake and a large jumbo pink lemonade — both were incredible and the perfect way to finish the meal. Everything was filling and satisfying! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the people were very polite and professional. It’s truly one of the best Black-owned restaurants in Fort Myers. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

4 months agoThanks to a young lady at WALLY WORLD gas station. We was engaged in a conversation and I asked if she knew of any SOUL FOOD. She informed us of Ms. Mildred place. From the time my momma and I walked through her door of Mildred’s restaurant we felt like it was the place to be. From the warm welcome to the good byes. But to the food we had smothered pork chops, okra and tomatoes yams and rice and gravy, and I had chicken wings dinner greens, Mac and cheese with the yellow rice. The food was Delicioso, my momma have health problems and it’s getting harder to find foods she will eat. But I LOVE ❤️ AND APPRECIATE THIS BUSINESS because my momma asked me to eat there at least twice a week. If anyone needs an excellent home cook meal and struggling parents. DON’T WALK RUN OVER TO MS. MILDRED PLACE!! Ohhh! I don’t have a photo we ate all the food 😳🤤😍

7 months agoWhen I tell you this is the Best Soul Food I have ever had trust and believe you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. EXPECT TO FEEL LIKE YOU JUST ATE Grandma cooking. The veggies, turkey wings, fried fish, meatloaf and oxtail are AWESOME..... not to mention the muffins are no joke... Have an appetite when you order your food. Mildred is a 10 out of 10...

8 months agoBro these reviews have to be CAP, the food is terrible. I ordered greens, fried chicken, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. For this to be considered soul food, there was absolutely no soul put into this. I was given cabbage instead of Mac and cheese, they’re definitely serving boxed mashed potatoes. The Mac and cheese is gross, tastes like craft microwaveable soaked in cheese, and the chicken tastes like nothing but flour/batter. I’m so disappointed. Ew ew ew. The cabbage is good but everything else 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾.

a year agoI stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed. The special today was Meatloaf- which I have had in the past and it is remarkable. Perhaps that is why it was sold out by the time I arrived. I settled for the Oxtails with yellow rice and Mac n Cheese which was phenomenal....oxtails tender, well-seasoned, the yellow rice has a rich sweet pepper taste that I love. Service is always a pleasure as the atmosphere is welcoming and family oriented. I was happy to have the pleasure of seeing Mildred herseIf and family today. If you are looking for a homestyle dining experience, look no further. My only regret is that they are not open a little later.

a year agoThe food is deicious and the portions are huge! Order from Mildred's, you won't be disappointed. I ordered the meatloaf dinner, and it was perfection. I ordered the meatloaf dinner on Uber eats, so my review is based on that experience.

2 years agoHands down, this is the BEST soul food establishment in Fort Myers, I have visited Mildred's several times and I have never had a bad experience. The turkey wings are exceptional, full of flavor, their sides are delicious & last but NOT least their desserts take you back to Grandma's house on Sunday 😊. Great atmosphere, great service, delicious food.
