5 months agoWe have been coming to Milton’s Bay Cafe for several years and really enjoy the restaurant. My wife loves the crepes and it’s the main reason we return often. I am leaving less than 5 stars because they have not had them available for months. We’ve inquired and there was no clear reason for not having them available. Might be time to try somewhere new.

10 months agoLabor Day breakfast and not an empty seat in the house. 4 seats at the bar opened first so we sat down and despite super busy the bartender/server was quick to help us and treated us like we were the only customers. All our orders were spot on correct. Serving sizes were generous and we could tell the food was fresh. Planning to return and try the lunch menu as well. We even met the owner Milton, he was busy and still took a moment to ask us how we were doing. Enjoyed.

a year agoWow! Milton’s Bay Cafe is hands down the best hidden gem in Virginia Beach. This cozy spot serves up the most incredible American-Greek inspired cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything from the warm hospitality to the outstanding food makes this place a must-visit! The Greek omelet? Absolute fire. Packed with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor! The BLT sandwich? Perfection. Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes on perfectly toasted bread. And don’t even get me started on the Nutella crepes—filled with strawberries and topped with fluffy whipped cream, they’re simply heavenly! If you’re a soup lover, the homemade chicken soup is a game-changer—cooked to absolute perfection with rich, comforting flavors. Every dish here is made with love and attention to detail. To top it all off, the service is impeccable—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. It’s clear that this place takes pride in everything they do. 2 years agoThe ambiance is downright homey, cozy, like what a neighborhood cafe should be - the owner sitting at the bar sharing pleasantries with customers. Service was quick and friendly. It wasn’t on the menu but my friend got creative and asked if we can get lobster omelette. The waitress even said they can add avocado slices as well! The lobster omelette was delicious, generous chunks of lobster meat, very fresh avocados in the omelette.

3 years agoStopped here for a bite after work, Amy served us, the experience was very very nice. I had the French toast with Nutella and strawberry’s with eggs, sausage and potato’s . Had a whisky sour with lemonade . The food was great, the service was excellent. She was super attentive , efficient , and just overall a great experience . My friend got a Philly cheesesteaks sandwich and enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this little spot for brunch/ lunch

4 years agoWe visited during a trip to Virginia Beach. The food is top notch. Honestly, this was some of the best French toast I’ve ever had. My husband loved the shrimp and grits. Our server was fabulous. She was super busy but attentive and took great care of us. We will definitely make this our go to breakfast spot when we’re in town.
