See All ReviewsStopped by with my partner to try the pork katsu, and it did not disappoint! The katsu combo was satiating and tasty. When I was leaving I had forgotten my takeaway, and the person who served us ran it out to us. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Of the 7 places that offer tonkatsu in this area that I've been to, Miso is the best. The pork is the most tender with the fat perfectly rendered and the breading is the most airy and crunchy. I always get the bulgogi combo. The interior design of the restaurant could be better but that's more than made up for by the quality of the service and food.
I never heard about this japanese korean fusion place until my husband told me. I really loveee Miso! First visit was a week ago and I ordered rice and noodle combo. I picked sashimi rice and japanese miso ramen for $18.45 (pic #1). For me, it filled me up just right with a really good price! My husband got the shrimp wrapped with potato for appetizer also udon and chicken katsu combo (no pics here). He loved it!! We came back for dinner earlier, and I re-ordered my favorite combo. This time I chose bulgogi rice and kimchi ramen for $19.45 (pic #2). Can't say which one is better cuz I think every dish has its own unique flavor. But in general, I love the dishes!! We also got tofu katsu for appetizer (I got 2 pcs since I shared with my husband. Total 5 pcs). It gave me a nice feeling of soft tofu covered with crunchy crispy batter outside. And they always give you a mini yogurt drink for dessert! Overall, we'd always love to go back to Miso.
