See All ReviewsDescent price for breakfast, but the servers do a very poor job. The servers also have some questionable cleaning habits (or lack of). When they set the table they put the utensils on top of the napkins while touching the part of fork and knife that goes on people's mouth. Also the two times I been there my mug had lipstick stains. When I ask to change for a cleaner one the server said is only lipstick and brought back another mug , that was also dirty. There servers are often hanging out talking very loud bashing their own job or complaining about something. Maybe put some background music, that might help. Servers with long nails are disgusting, specially when they keep flipping the dirt and checking the nails when they are bored. One blond older waitress is very loud and noisy. She tries to be friendly but it comes out annoying, getting into people's conversation, making loud comments and remarks, to the point is uncomfortable. Until they have a better staff with more manners I wont be back there
1st time dining here with my family. Clean restaurant. Cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Good prices. Our server James was awesome. We were able to meet the owner Mr. Moishe. Good food. The cold slaw was delicious. The split pea soup was also delicious, very tasty, seasoned just right. I would recommend Moishe's and would dine here again.
I'm from MTL and have craved poutine for years now. I can say this is legit. The amount of gravy was perfect, but I think I would have preferred a little more cheese curds. The fries were how I liked them, soft and flimsy. I only got the Traditional poutine, but there's option to include smoked meat, and others. I tried some of my husband's smoked meat sandwich, and this was also legit. It tasted just like I remembered. It didn't come with mustard, but on the table there was option to put regular yellow mustard, or spicy brown mustard. The place is big, so I can see that if it gets busy, it might be a little slow. When we went, it was midday and we were the only ones there. Eventually, a few couples came in just as we were leaving. The service was great. Waitress Elysse was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back.
