a month agoStopped by on my way to work and I’m glad I did. The food was fresh, the tortillas were homemade, and everything tasted amazing. I’ll definitely be back soon 😁 Also if u get a chance get number 15 on the menu u will be glad u did.

2 months agoFirst time there today, not a fan. I ordered 5 tacos and a soda. Didn't get the soda, but I will blame that on myself because I asked is everything there and didn't check. The 2 barbacoa were so greasy with in 2 minutes the bag from the bottom was soaked in grease and 2 other tacos were covered in grease. I needed all the napkins in the bag, which were starting to soak up the grease, just to try and clean my hands and clean the stuff before I handed the food to my wife. The barbacoa was really fatty, and I love fatty greasy barbacoa, but come on half of each taco seemed like fat. Something was really weird with the beans to, like they were sweet. I didn't get it.

4 months agogood service and food , my son had the breakfast taco super , that sucker was huge ! and I had the carne guisada super yummy. Hidden gem in New Braunfel as my son lives like 5 minutes away and I wanted some real breakfast . Tea was good as well . Tortillas was super yummy as well .

11 months agoMonterrey Cafe is an okay little place. The food was is just alright nothing special, but their the salsa had a nice flavor to it. I enjoyed what I ordered, but the portions were on the smaller side and I left still feeling a bit hungry. The service wasn’t very friendly either which was a little disappointing. It’s an okay spot if you’re nearby but I probably wouldn’t make a special trip.

a year agoGreat spot right off Highway 35 serving up delicious Latin breakfast (El Salvadorian themed). I had the beef fajita omelet and it did not disappoint. 2 kids had pancake plates and my wife had breakfast tacos.

a year agoVery disappointed. First time here. I got home and was very disappointed.. Smallest tacos I’ve ever had. My potato, bacon and cheese taco had only 3 pieces of potato 🤦♀️ very little egg on the bacon and egg taco!! If you’re looking for real tacos this is not the place!!

4 years ago$ Pretty Darn Good!! So glad we finally tried this place. So much to pick from on the menu... It's so hard to find good rice and beans in a combo. Aguas were on point... Will be back to try more plates. Oh, service was friendly and attentive too. TY👍🏻👍🏻
