Food is very good, service was very good. Beers are expensive though....
Food was good. Camarones a la diabla was very spicy, chicken quesadilla was excellent. The salsa was not good. Asked for hot sauce, they brought it in a small bowl and charged me for it. Also, too pricey in my opinion.
First time here. One waitress was really kind and welcoming while the other one was ok. I ordered ACP and it came out with hair on the plate. They politely took it back, but basically returned with the same plate. I could tell since the queso was in the same spot on the plate. My husbands chicken and beef burritos were good per him and he was able to finish his food. My dish probably would have been good as well if edible. And before asking why didn't I send it back, well I tried that and decided to eat somewhere else.
We stopped by this place and were truly amazed at the quality and portion size. Everything is really fresh and good. Highly recommend stopping by.
This was such a little fabulous surprise. Warm tortillas, spicy salsa, delicious food. And a “medium” margarita- strong and sweet! Stopped by on the home trek. Nice atmosphere. Very sweet servers, who carded my 22 year old (yay!) who was sipping my margarita. Highly recommended.
Amazing restaurant with quality food and great people! We loved our Al Pastor tacos and soup! We were given beyond decent portions and the price was good. We will definitely be going back.
Let me say we’ve gone to the Newark location several times and were looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately we didnt have a good experience getting breakfast at this location. Bought the breakfast quesadilla and chilaquiles. What we got was really not good. The quesadilla was dry with a slice of american cheese melted only at the fold of the tortilla, and had not been cut into slices which is pretty standard at all the ofher places we go. The rest of the quesadilla was just dry with a scrambled egg that wasnt even melted into it because the cheese was covering about 1” near the fold. We had to pay extra for bacon to be added which is odd since everywhere else we go this is standard. The bacon was just a slice that wasnt placed inside. Everywhere else they dice them up and mix it into the scrambled eggs with cheese. So the cook didnt know what he was doing. The quesadilla wasnt grilled either, it was basically raw flower. This was like eating a poorly made sandwich. The chilaquiles was absolutely disgusting. I took 4-5 bites and stopped eating it. The cook poured so much queso cheese on the tortillas it was literally like a soup. As in, do you want some lettuce and tortillas with your cheese? There was so much that if you tilted the plate it would spill over onto the table. It was pooled up on the plate and almost overflowing. The server could tell that we werent pleased with the meal it was a bad experience. We basically spent $40 to throw everything in the garbage. I am not a picky eater and dont mind spending money, but this was a bad meal. The cook just didnt seem to know what he was doing. We were the only ones in the restaurant and were the first people on a Sunday morning, so maybe this isnt the regular cook. But we wouldnt come back here for breakfast it was a real disappointment. Ended up having to go somewhere else after it was so bad. Havent had to do that in awhile.
Amazing taste and portion sizes for both food and drinks. Everything was super fresh, seasoned to perfection and staff did pretty good job at making sure everything flows smooth and prompt. 10/10
