My husband has been singing the praises of this place for the past 2 months and today was the day that we tried it altogether as a family with our 10yr old son. I’m only sorry that it took us THIS long to come here… the place is an absolute gem. Every aspect is 5/5 stars. The owner was immensely grateful and accommodating, easy to chat with. The food, soooo fresh and full with flavor. They had 4 homemade soups that we were offered a sample, and he said “You know what? I’m gonna give you a sampling of all 4 because they are too good to pass.” AND THEY WERE. I couldn’t even pick a favorite because they were all incredible. Clean, so spotlessly clean. Very expansive menu including cold and hot sandwiches, soups, salads, smoothies and desserts. I was thrilled to see 3 other families enjoying their meals as the owner was attentive and welcoming to each patron that walked in. Just an overall sense of casual joy emits from the place, and we will continue to happily patronize Moodys. Thank you so much for truly being a five-star business!
There is no better sandwich shop in Kenosha than Moody's. It's a gem that more people need to know about. I'm a smoked meat connoisseur, their corned beef and pastrami sandwiches are decadent- and you can tell that they know what they're doing. I've tried them all: meatball bombers, cheesesteaks, paninis. Add to that their homemade soups, amazing Dubai cups, and you can't have a better dining out experience. But here's the icing on the cake: they fully understand hospitality. All the staff genuinely wants you pleased with your meal, and you feel that from the moment you walk in until your last bite. Legendary service is a lost art, and the team here "gets it". You don't want to miss trying this place out, and like me, you'll be a customer for life.
The service was awesome! The staff were super friendly. We ordered a couple cheese steaks and a build your own sub. The ingredients were very fresh and the portions were large! It was a bit more expensive than we thought it would be, but you can tell the ingredients were very high quality. We will definitely be back again.
