This place is off the chain good. Used to live in CA and now in the midwest where the concept of Hawaiian BBQ is not even in the vocabulary. Here for work and got some carry out. Everything was amazing. I did the combo katsu and BBQ chicken. Katsu was super crispy but not greasy. Delicious sauce as well. BBQ was well seasoned, a little sweet but very balanced. Rice was excellent with the furikake and the Mac salad amazing as well. Can’t go wrong here. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Portions are generous and prices are super reasonable. I will keep this on my list of places when I need to come back to Ontario!
First time trying Moon Grill and really glad I did, I got the "Make it Bougie", short ribs and a side of garlic shrimp totally destroyed it! Haha soooo good everything was so flavorful, tender and perfect👌 and well priced. Good menu to choose from can't wait to go back and try more of that menu and give them that 5th star. Kool spot with just enough seating to not be cramped and enjoy yourself. Staff were friendly worked quickly and got me anything I needed. Great place to enjoy good food 👌
Came here for the 30$ platter that i saw on cians yt which imo he kinda overhyped. More like 43$ including tax but I believe the price fluctuates? It seems like the owner really cares about his restaurant. The customer service is excellent, and all the workers behind the counter seem hardworking. My only complaint is that the beef rib had almost no meat and was mostly just fat and bones which was a bit of a turn off and one of the rib was overcooked. In the video it had 3 ribs but there is only 2 ribs given. Mutsubi was mostly rice and lacking flavor. I would say the garlic butter sauce was the best part of the meal. Ordered the premium combo and 2 spam mutsubis which came close to 50$.
