7 months agoStopped by here on a kayak camping trip in Aug. 2025 and was hoping for a nice fat cheeseburger after snorkeling and paddling most of the day. The burger was superb and the lady that cooked it was a sweetheart and very nice. Powered me to paddle even more miles that day!

9 months agoUnfortunately, we could not try a Philly cheesesteak last night (7/17/25) because they were all out. We got burgers and a wrap instead. It was just okay. We were also told there would be a 40 minute wait for three burgers, a wrap, and some chicken tenders. Burgers were dry, wrap was some food slapped in a tortilla, it wasn’t even wrapped up. We tried to return for breakfast this morning and they’re out of hashbrowns because the boss didn’t do an order, and we also couldn’t get sausage gravy at 8:30am (they open at 6) because she hasn’t made it yet. Overall, this place has been completely underwhelming and nothing like what’s described in these other reviews. Staff are also not pleasant and do not seem even slightly thankful to be working/have a job. Disappointing.

Edited 6 months agoBest Philly around, I will happily drive Farther to go here, but only in the afternoon with the nicer lady working. Edit: just got back from Philadelphia and this place is still the best cheesesteak I've ever had

a year agoWe’ll never know if it’s as good as some claim. After driving down from Tallahassee for lunch, we found the place empty. I went looking for the bathroom and a muffled voice called out that it’s not working so there isn’t a bathroom. Is there another one we can use we asked the voice? A girl reluctantly came out of the back. “Well I guess you can go back across the river to the Dollar General”. Very disappointed in the whole interaction. My husband commented that she didn’t look like she’d put much effort into fixing our food so we changed plans. We ended up at Aiken BBQ and Grill just down the road in Bell and had great service and wonderful food! 😋 And a working bathroom. 😊

a year agoFood is GREAT!! The Philly's and Cheeseburgers especially. Great prices for the food also!!!. Nice little friendly setting. Friendly staff. Sit just a walk away from Suwanee River. Its a nice little store/restaurant!!. It will not disappoint. Across the street from Rock Bluff Spring Park as well. I almost forgot about that part too.

a year agoMy wife and I stopped in for breakfast this morning. We are new to the area. We met Lena, who was beyond amazing. Our food was beyond delicious. Despite being busy, Lena did an amazing job and took time to talk to us and told us some great places around the area. We will definitely be back!

3 years agoThis place knocked it out of the park. My wife had a Philly cheesesteak. I spent a lot of time in Philadelphia and this was the best Philly cheese that I ever did have. I had bacon cheeseburger. It was humongous but I did manage to finish it. Great home cooking nice atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy this food again.
