They serve everything a la carte even salsa. So one pound end up costing > $ 26 if you want the salsa and onion. Food is ok nothing out of the ordinary.
The barbacoa tasted great and was strained from it's grease, no grease balls, and perfectly seasoned. Both the corn and flour tortillas were piping hot. We also had a small order of chicharron that was cooked in salsa. We were not expecting it to have actual pieces of pork meat, which made it that much better. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. This is a pick up and go home and eat your food. We were on the way back home and ate the food outside on the hood of my car... great food, people and memories!
Good food. Very cluttered interior of store, a line cannot form because of it. One of the workers had their children inside which is not a big deal but they were sitting on the floor adding to the cramped space. I guess they also fed their children but tamale husks were all over the floor with crumbs from the little piggies. The barbacoa and tamales were delicious though and expensive but worth it. Cash only though.
