See All ReviewsI use to love this place. But, they are fooling their clients. One time could look like an error, but 3 times? It's enough. At checkout they changed the prices showed in the menu. Plus, taxes and fees. THIS IS ILLEGAL! you have to respect the prices on the menu, not change it last minute at the checkout. They been stealing to their clients all this time. Leave a menu at your table always is my advice. And compare the prices at checkout.
I went in today to dine in with my boys. I learned that Sundays are their busiest day. I had waited on a table that the waitress told me to wait on. She said The family that was sitting there was getting ready to leave as soon as Man walked in after us they gave him the table we were waiting on and we’ve been waiting for 10 minutes, I had sat down at the table next to that man so the lady can know that we’ve been waiting. There was a rude waitress there. She didn’t even ask me to get up. She just moved the table as I was sitting there the rag that she used to wipe the table down smelled so bad , so sad to say I used to come here all the time but now that environment is different. The staff is different. I’m just not a fan of this place no more. 2.5/10
I’ve been waiting to try motor city tacos! The building itself isn’t huge. It’s a small dining area attached to a small grocery market. They have many staples a Hispanic family could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered three tacos (Mexican style) to go. All the tacos were served with sliced grilled onions and cilantro. Grilling the onions and having them sliced as opposed to diced was a nice touch. The chicken taco was good. The flavoring of the chicken was nice. The steak, while chopped small and cooked well was not flavored much. But the Al Pastor taco was great! The marinade really shinned through. If you eat pork I highly recommend trying this. The hot salsa wasn’t very spicy and the mild was nice. About what you get at most Mexican restaurants.
