See All ReviewsI really wanted to give this place a five star review and the only thing holding me back was the slow service as the girl helping me had an Airpod in one ear clearly visible, so that immediately wasnt the best first impression to be seated. I got the grilled fish tacos and they were fantastic. The fish was delicious and light along with the tortilla being made in house or something similar. The dish also came with charro beans, which I spared no time devouring them. Lastly was the rice which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, reminding me of my family and growing up in a Mexican household. My drink was an Agua de Horchata and it was creamy and smooth, likely homemade adding to the overall quality of this place because I judge harshly based on if a restaurant makes with real ingredients or pre made mixes. You can always tell. It was a beautiful day when I went and sat down outside with a friend and we went over things going on in life, as he was moving out of state the next day. Having delicious food with good company and the ocean only several hundred feet from me to appreciate the smaller things in life. All this to say, I still recommend going even if the service wasnt the best.
Amazing experience all around! Plus it's a vegan heaven on the island! They have a vegan section on the menu, cauliflower tacos and quesadillas were yum, and the beans and rice were also vegan. The staff were so sweet and the decor and vibes were perfect. And it's on the seawall! Must eat here again!
Great music, roomy and clean restaurant, friendly and attentive staff. Amazingly delicious food. Rice and charro beans were great. Street tacos amazing! Flautas plate delicious. House margaritas good nice and smooth not acidic. The only negative was they didn’t serve the obligatory Mexican food restaurant chips and salsa to the tables. I feel like that is basically a requires these days and it would’ve been nice to munch with my margarita while we decided our meals. Glad we stopped in.
