Amazing Food ! The owners were so nice to us , first time coming in & they made it feel like home !!! The fried fish was crispy and steaming hot , Mac & cheese Amazing ! Yams even better ! I would give 100/10 if I could ! Will definitely be back ! Loved it.
Wow! My entire family thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered. It was hands down the best soul food we’ve had in a very long time. It reminded me of my grandfather’s cooking. This will always be our go-to soul food restaurant when we visit. Thank you for the amazing food and experience!
I never write negative reviews- but as a fellow POC business owner, I feel it's necessary to report my experience. I ordered takeout via phone an hour and a half before close (which, although later, was still well before closing). When I arrived, the waitstaff said the order would be up shortly. After a 20 minute wait, the staff preparing the food arrived, only to drop the fried chicken that had been sitting for some time, in the fryer, report that they were out of most sides, and deliver food that I immediately threw out when I arrived at home. As a small business owner myself, I understand it's not easy- but sometimes you only have one chance to make a good impression. This was not it, and unfortunately I won't be returning. Hopefully this was an off night and the quality of service improves.
