Very busy on a Saturday! so wait on food was ok and food was worth the wait! Live in sterling and it seems like most of are family restaurants go on vacation and close at the same time, so glad I found this one open
Very good food! I had some delicious stuffed French toast with a side of spiced apples. Not at all expensive and fairly quick! The Mt. Carroll Café is a throwback to the best kinds of local diners. It was immediate upon walking through the front door that this place was frequented and loved by the locals. Most greeted me as I walked in, and the staff was very friendly. While waiting for your food, feel free the explore the antiques shop the café is connected to! Seriously, how cool.
We needed a place to stop for breakfast while on the road. The waitress was very patient with me as I needed to take a menu out to our van. (We have a puppy and didn't want to leave her) Everything was delicious and hot. Coffee was excellent! Thank you so much!
