See All ReviewsIt's been a long time since I've been to Mugs but it was a great little place. I've always loved "Hole in the Wall" type restaurants/diners and this is one of the best.
Great small town dinner. Good food and service with fair prices. Serves breakfast and lunch only.
Mugs is a typical diner. Not somewhere you go for exquisite food. That being said the food isn't bad. I would have given a 5 star review, but there was a mistake made on my friends bill, and she was charged more than she should have been. The waitress confirmed that the price would be the same, even en though there was this substitution. If it cost more than the waitress said it would, it should have come out of the waitress's check, not my friend's pocket. While it was only a several dollars more, it was no longer affordable for her. That's why we made it clear to the waitress that it had to be the same dollar amount that was on the menu, or she would choose something different. Because they don't have gluten-free bread, the waitress offered a substitution of a half order of hash browns for the same price. Well, it was more when the check came. And they refused, absolutely refused, to fix it. We will never ever go there again. The food and the atmosphere are absolutely not worth it. Diners here are a dime a dozen. Go somewhere different. Also, if you have to go to the bathroom, I recommend holding it.
