This is a top-notch Korean restaurant that has maintained a high quality of food and service over the years. Note that the same cannot be said about almost all other Korean restaurants in the area. The cozy, home-like atmosphere is perfect for unpretentious small gatherings. I always feel wonderful walking in and I’m always deeply satisfied after every meal at Myung Ga Won. So grateful and looking forward to future meals there.
Try out the cold noodle! It is very addictive
Surprised of food quality. This is not a fancy restaurant, but it is 집밥 kind.
Tried their lunch Korean set - choice of fish or marinated pork - cash only ($14). Very disappointed by it. It was very different from their photos in the menu- while the photo in the menu showed almost 10 side dishes, they served 1/2 of that. Price is definitely high than the quality of food. They need to update their photos in the menu - misleading and not honest. Not going back there again.
Excellent neighborhood restart with good amount of choices. Includes options for lunch (weekday only) and dinner (weekend only) packages. Side dishes are refillable. Loved the rice juice that they serve at the end of the meal.
For a quick lunch or dinner you can't have a better place. It's casual, fast, clean, and the food is good; not to mention super cheap. They're lunch specials are a great deal. The Cold Noodle Soup in summer time is awesome. Every meal I've had there is consistently good
Homely Korean fare. The galbi was not steaming hot as if it should have been off the grill. The banchan selections were pretty standard. The service was friendly although they staff could've have been more proficient with their English.
Nice staff clean restaurant and delicious food. Side dishes were excellent but Bulgogi was a little bit too sweet for my taste. I recommend this restaurant for his cleanness and tasty food.
