See All Reviews🍜 Review: Nan Bei Ho – Bayside, NY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bayside is packed with great food spots, and Nan Bei Ho easily earns its place on that list. We ordered the family dinner plus one appetizer, and the value was unbelievable—only $70 for a full spread that tasted like comfort, tradition, and skill all rolled into one. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place where families gather, conversations flow, and the food does all the talking. The staff were kind, attentive, and fast—our dishes came out in under 15 minutes. We barely had time to sip our tea before the table filled up. Here’s what we ordered: - Egg dish – soft, savory, and perfectly seasoned. - Pan‑fried noodles – crispy edges, tender center, and a sauce that ties everything together beautifully. - Salt & pepper fried fish – crispy, fragrant, and absolutely addictive. - Tofu dish – silky, flavorful, and a standout even for non‑tofu lovers. Every dish tasted fresh, balanced, and made with care. It’s the kind of meal that makes you want to come back and try the entire menu. Parking can be tough in Bayside, but if you’re willing to walk a block or two, it’s absolutely worth it. I love this place, the food, the service, and the vibe. Nan Bei Ho is officially on my repeat‑visit list. --- 🍜 Boomsauce Scale (Restaurant Edition) - 🗑️ B – Basura Bland food, slow service, nothing worth remembering. - 😐 BS – Basic Sauce Decent meal, average flavors, gets the job done. - 👍 BS+ – Better Sauce Good dishes, friendly staff, solid experience. - 🔥 BS++ – Best Sauce Delicious food, fast service, great value, and warm atmosphere. - 🌟 BS+++ – Boomsauce Elite Flavor-packed dishes, lightning-fast service, amazing value, and a vibe that makes you feel at home. Boomsauce Score: 🌟 BS+++ – Boomsauce Elite Nan Bei Ho delivers comfort, flavor, and value in one perfect Bayside package.
This is one of my favorite go to breakfast places. You cannot beat the prices for authentic Taiwanese style breakfast. When we come as a family, we always get the soy milk, salted tofu (personal favorite), pan fried dumplings, steamed veggie dumplings, scallion, pancake with beef, you tiao and stinky tofu. The stinky tofu isn't that pungent, but the accompanying pickle vege is just perfect and the fry tofu is suitable for the entire family to enjoy.
Great Taiwanese breakfast! This place is opened by a famous martial arts actress from Hong Kong!
